Budget 2019-2020

The PPSC’s total budget is $219M.
The budget is allocated as follows:
- Personnel expenditures of $125.5M for the PPSC;
- Other operating expenditures of $69.9M for the PPSC (including $47.3M for private sector lawyers [agents] retained to act as federal prosecutors);
- Fine recovery operating cost of $4M (special purpose allotment that cannot be used for any other purpose); and
- Contributions to employees benefits plans of $19.6M for the PPSC.
The PPSC has authority to recover up to $22.7M from other government departments for prosecution services.
The PPSC does not have capital funds or administer grants and contributions.
