Office of the Commissioner of Canada Elections (OCCE)
On April 1, 2019, the Chief Electoral Officer published in the Canada Gazette a provision of the statute allowing the administrative reintegration of the OCCE within the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, to come into force on that date.
OCCE financial information continues to be included in certain PPSC 2019-2020 reports (i.e. quarterly financial report, departmental plan) until such a time as both funding and expenditures are transferred to Elections Canada which is anticipated by the end of the fiscal year.
