Assignment under paragraph 3(3)(g) of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act
1. Under paragraph 3(3)(g) of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act, I assign to the Director of Public Prosecutions the powers, duties and functions of the Attorney General of Canada as set out on December 18, 2018, in the following Acts:
- the Cannabis Act, other than any power, duty or function set out in section 59 or 60;
- the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
- the Criminal Code, other than any power, duty or function set out in
- any of subsections 83.31(1), (1.1), (2) and (3.1),
- subparagraph 117.07(2)(e)(ii),
- section 320.39,
- section 320.4,
- section 462.5,
- the definition “assessment” in subsection 672.1(1),
- subsection 672.24(2),
- subsection 672.5(8.1),
- subsection 684(2),
- subsection 694.1(2),
- paragraph 717(1)(a), or
- the definition “supervisor” in section 742.
2. The Assignment under paragraph 3(3)(g) of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act published in the Canada Gazette on August 1, 2015 is repealed on the day that this Assignment is made.
