The PPSC is seeking proficient private-sector lawyers with significant experience in civil debt recovery, to act as ad hoc agents. Please refer to the Headquarters (Ottawa) Opportunities page for further details.

The Public Prosecution Service of Canada is accepting applications (HTML) on an on-going basis from private-sector lawyers or law firms interested in acting as Agents for the Director of Public Prosecutions; Members of this provincial Bar must have criminal law experience and be able to assume responsibility for the conduct of prosecutions and related proceedings arising from the enforcement of various federal statutes.

Applications received under this Notice will be kept for one (1) year and applicants will be contacted as opportunities arise.

Additionally, Fixed-Term Agreements (contract) are currently available in the locations listed below:

  • Cape Breton and Victoria Counties, including the court location of Sydney (Ref.: ARO-2023-08-01)

Applications for these particular locations must be received no later than 11:59 pm EST on September 27th, 2023.
